Rupsades or Portuguese Candy
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of Granulated sugar|Sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar|apple cider vinegar
- Wax paper
- Boil all ingredients until it is thick and brandy color.
- Work small amounts on a cookie sheet to form rotini|twists and wrap in wax paper.
- You have to work fast because when it cools it will not be pliable.
- Be very careful this mixture is hot and can burn you
