Lemon Chess Pie

Ingredients
  • 1½ cups granulated sugar|sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp cornmeal
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup lemon juice or juice and rind of 1 lemon
  • Pie Shell
Directions
  1. Combine sugar, flour and meal. Toss together.
  2. Add eggs, lemon juice, butter. Mix well.
  3. Pour in unbaked pie shell.
  4. Bake 45 minutes at 350 °F.
